This includes: - No harassment, abuse, or bullying - No hate speech or discriminatory language (including but not limited to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, disability) - No personal attacks or threats2. Maintain Academic Integrity
As a platform built around higher education and research, we expect users to: - Avoid plagiarism in all forms (e.g., copying articles, research summaries, or SOPs) - Credit sources when sharing ideas, findings, or media - Represent your credentials and experiences honestly3. Keep It Constructive
Collegon encourages peer review and discussion. You are welcome to critique mentors, courses, or systems — but do so constructively. Avoid: - Unsubstantiated accusations - Vulgar or inflammatory language - Review bombing or coordinated attacks4. Post Honest and Helpful Reviews
Users can evaluate mentors and campus resources. Reviews must: - Be based on your personal experience - Avoid exaggeration or defamation - Be respectful, even when critical Mentors may respond, but retaliatory actions are strictly prohibited.5. Protect Privacy
Respect the privacy of others, both on and off the platform: - Don’t share private information (yours or someone else’s) such as contact details or home addresses - Do not impersonate someone else - Don’t solicit private information from others6. No Spam or Self-Promotion
To keep discussions useful and authentic: - Do not post promotional content or advertisements without approval - Avoid posting the same content repeatedly (spam) - If you share resources (e.g., tools, events), make sure they’re relevant and not promotional in nature7. Use Sections Appropriately
Collegon is organized into sections to support meaningful engagement: - Use Mentors for academic mentor profiles and evaluations - Use Campus for local resources and campus-specific discussions - Use Sharing for general academic, career, and life topics - Use Vote to express your opinion and explore others’ - Use My Niche to personalize your profile and network Misusing sections may result in content removal.8. Report Violations
Help us keep the community healthy: - Report content that violates these guidelines - Report suspicious behavior (e.g., scams, predatory mentorship, harassment) - Use the platform’s tools to block or flag inappropriate users9. Mentor-Specific Conduct

Violation of these guidelines may result in: - Warning notices - Content removal - Account suspension or termination Our moderation team reviews reports fairly and consistently.11. Appeals and Feedback
